It goes without saying that we are regularly confronted with the scarce information available on Tibbies in Dutch. This inspired me to write this book. I could not have done it by myself and am very grateful, first of all, for the help given me by my husband who did all the researching. Although the population of the breed is not extensive in the Netherlands, I hope this book will prove to be a worthwhile addition. On my trips abroad as a judge, I noticed that Tibbie owners in other countries were also interested in this book, hence the English publication.
